THE CREATIVE TEAM
Becky Parsons (Producer) is an award winning cinematographer (Rhonda’s Party), fine art photographer (Kodak Achievement Award) and nominated director (Le Coeur Qui Bat – best music video – Music NB). A graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, she has 19 years experience in the photographic and motion picture arts. She is Director of Photography and/or camera operator on a number of well known productions, recently documentary feature film ‘Carmine Street Guitars’, Bruce McDonald’s feature film ‘Weirdos’, and the popular new Radio-Canada series ‘A la Valdrague’. Her fine art photography has exhibited in Halifax and other cities in Nova Scotia, Moncton, Toronto and London, England and has entered private collections throughout Canada and the UK. In 2018 Becky Parsons created production company No Fear Films and as a producer she is in development with writer Sarah Gignac and executive producer Terry Greenlaw with horror feature film ‘The Apartment’. Becky is based in Atlantic Canada also working on occasion in Ontario and the UK, and wherever a project may take her.
Sarah Gignac (Writer) wrote and directed three short films (Curtains, Sleeping Beauty, and Borscht & Fresh Bread), which played in festivals across North America and internationally. She has participated in many writing and filmmaking programs including the PEI Screenwriters Bootcamp, AFCOOP’s Film 5, and WIFT-AT’s Directed By Women. In 2016 she shadowed director Cory Bowles on the set of Picture Plant’s Studio Black! She was Filmmaker in Residence at the Klondike Institute of Art and Culture (KIAC) in Dawson, Yukon in 2017. In 2018 she attended the [Interactive] Incubator Project for Web Series at the St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival. Currently she is in development with her creative partner Becky Parsons and Executive Producer Terry Greenlaw on The Apartment, a horror feature film. She lives and writes in Halifax, NS.

Terry Greenlaw (Executive Producer) Terry began her film and television production career in 1986 after studying theatre at Dalhousie University. She has been a partner in Picture Plant Ltd. since 1988. Based in Nova Scotia, the company is known for fostering Atlantic Canadian talent through exceptional feature films, television programs and documentaries.
Picture Plant’s feature films and documentaries have been released both theatrically and on free and pay television, have been invited to festivals around the world, celebrating retrospectives in Melbourne, Paris and Toronto and are on the curricula of several university film studies programs. Notable productions include the 13-episode CBC-TV series GULLAGE’S (1996-97), the CBC movie of the week ONE HEART BROKEN INTO SONG (1999) which earned multiple Gemini nominations and the documentary film MEN OF THE DEEPS (2003), which was co-produced with John Walker Productions and the National Film Board and garnered three Gemini awards and has been sold worldwide. Recent achievements include the Picture Plant/NFB feature documentaries READING ALISTAIR MACLEOD and SILENT MESSENGERS, shot in the Canadian Arctic.
The feature documentary THE MAN OF A THOUSAND SONGS premiered to standing ovations at TIFF in 2010, received awards for Audience Choice, Outstanding Direction and Best Documentary at the Atlantic Film Festival and went on to enjoy a successful limited theatrical release in Canada and Germany. The TV documentary THE PANTHER NEXT DOOR aired on CBC and screened at the Atlantic Film Festival in 2012. Terry produced the 2013 indie feature film HARD DRIVE, airing on Super Channel and Netflix USA following its theatrical debut. HARD DRIVE is being distributed in Canada by Mongrel Media and represented by world sales agent The Yellow Affair. She recently produced STUDIO BLACK!, an eight part dramatic mini-series directed by four Black Canadian Directors and licensed to CBC.
Terry is developing several dramatic and documentary projects with Picture Plant, including feature film co-productions with partners in Havana, London, Munich and Beijing. Terry has also worked with offshore production companies as a service producer and recently has helped emerging filmmakers in the role of Executive Producer, most notably with the feature, BLACK COP (2018). Written and directed by Cory Bowles, BLACK COP was a surprise hit during last years festival season. Terry is currently producing A KILLING IN THE WOODS, a co-production between Picture Plant and Wellington FIlms of the UK, with international representation by Film Constellation and Canadian distribution by Raven Banner. A KILLING IN THE WOODS is slated to roll midsummer, 2018.
